An update for Artweaver Free and Plus 3.0 to version 3.1.4 is now available. You will get this update automatically over the Artweaver self update feature the next days.

This update includes the following improvements / fixes

• Brushes import result message improved
• Wrong brush method and category during ABR brush import fixed
• Minimum size of custom palette improved *
• Palette handling improved
• Straight Line mode of brush tool improved *
• Error in glow filter from filter gallery fixed *

Thanks to the help of Christian B. the Danish language file for Artweaver has been updated. This update improves the naming of brushes where some brushes have been renamed to make more sense in Danish language.

The updated Danish language file and many other language files for Artweaver can be directly downloaded from the Artweaver homepage.

Someone might ask why there is not already a new major version of Artweaver available. In the past almost every year a new major version of Artweaver was released and therefore it is now time for the next version. After finishing version 3 of Artweaver we have decided to change our release cycle a bit. Instead of releasing every year a new version we have extended the release cycle to about 1.5 years. Those additional 6 months gives us more time to spend on new features and also to improve the overall quality of the product. Currently we are almost on schedule and some big features are already done. Please visit this blog regularly as we plan to give some sneak previews on those features the next months. Finally we expect the next major release of Artweaver to be available around this summer.

It has been quite silent about Artweaver Team the last months but not for us internally. We are still improving and enhancing Artweaver Team but the next upcoming great big features need a lot of work and time. But we plan to publish smaller improvements to Artweaver Team in the meanwhile to reduce the waiting time for the big features. So please stay tuned and regularly visit Artweaver Team and this blog to keep updated.

We are happy to announce that new Plug-Ins for Artweaver are now available. Plug-Ins extend the functionality of Artweaver (both Free and Plus) about specific features. All Plug-Ins can be found and downloaded from the Artweaver Plug-Ins website.
